AirScope

Wireless collection and assurance module for the RTG Spectrum platform.

AirScope collects and normalizes HaLow and WiFi observations so engineering teams can review AP inventory, station topology, channel usage, Pattern-of-Life behavior, detection health, and survey evidence from one workflow.

Platform module

Built to turn field captures into explainable wireless evidence.

The Stage 1 AirScope workflow brings together simultaneous 900 MHz HaLow and 2.4 / 5 / 6 GHz WiFi collection, normalized observations, AP inventory review, station topology, Pattern-of-Life context, channel analysis, analyst notes, immutable survey finalization, and automatic report generation. Those events can feed the same Trace Analyzer timeline used by other RTG Spectrum modules.

Implemented Workflows

  • Unified observation schema for HaLow and Wi-Fi capture paths
  • Live AP inventory with first-seen, last-seen, band, channel, and signal details
  • Channel visualization across 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, 6 GHz, and 900 MHz bands
  • Markdown, HTML, PDF, CSV, JSON, and JSONL evidence exports

What this helps teams do

Turn wireless survey work into baseline, topology, and reportable evidence.

Establish wireless baselines

Capture AP inventory, signal trends, recurrence, and channel usage in a repeatable survey workflow.

Identify change

Separate known, new, missing, weekend-only, and anomalous infrastructure from ordinary scan noise.

Produce evidence

Export reports, tables, notes, screenshots, and machine-readable files for review or follow-up integration.

Pattern of Life

Wireless observations become more useful when they show recurrence and change.

AirScope supports pattern-of-life review for wireless environments: recurring AP presence, first-seen and last-seen timing, band and channel usage, signal trend, and survey-to-survey changes can be reviewed as engineering evidence rather than one-off scan results.

Review Signals

  • First-seen, last-seen, recurrence, and observation count
  • Band, channel, frequency, and signal trend over a survey
  • Known, new, missing, or anomalous AP behavior
  • Exportable evidence for follow-up analysis and reporting

Trace Analyzer

AirScope observations can feed a broader RF event timeline.

The same AirScope WiFi AP and station observations can be pushed into Trace Analyzer with BLE HCI/GPS, RF Sentinel, SDR-Shark, and PASSIVE-SHIELD passive DJI/OcuSync prototype evidence. That turns a wireless survey into a source-aware timeline that supports pattern-of-life review across multiple collection paths.

Timeline Value

  • AirScope AP and station context remains source-labeled
  • GPS, BLE, WiFi, and RF cues can be compared by timestamp
  • Raw packet detail stays available for analyst review
  • Cellular Survey LTE/5G NR events use the same shared event-plane pattern for broader timeline review
