SDR Prototype Development

SDR prototype development for RF sensing and analysis.

RTG Spectrum helps teams make SDR workflows inspectable, replayable, operator-facing, and ready for integration into broader RF sensing platforms.

Prototype Work

Turn SDR experiments into software a reviewer can run and inspect.

SDR development often starts with scripts, captures, and lab-only assumptions. RTG Spectrum helps turn that work into repeatable pipelines: capture, replay, FFT, waterfall, scanner control, decoded activity, APIs, synthetic test data, Docker startup, and event outputs that can feed Trace Analyzer.

Common Needs

  • SDR integration, IQ pipelines, replay files, and test harnesses
  • Spectrum, waterfall, max-hold, persistence, and signal-activity workflows
  • Signal classification, RFML hooks, feature extraction, and labeling support
  • Remote control, APIs, Dockerized demos, dashboards, and operator tools

Proof Artifact

SDR-Shark shows the prototype workflow as a runnable public demo.

SDR-Shark includes deterministic synthetic IQ replay, Docker Compose startup, replay APIs, FFT and waterfall visualization, signal-activity views, and a public-safe frequency-hopping demo. It demonstrates how RTG turns SDR work into a reviewable application instead of a one-off lab setup.

Engagement Paths

Prototype the RF workflow before overcommitting to product shape.

SDR Prototype Sprint

Build or improve the receive path, replay workflow, signal view, API surface, and operator demo around a concrete signal problem.

Replay/Test Harness

Create deterministic synthetic or sanitized replay data so stakeholders can run the prototype without live RF captures.

Event Integration

Publish SDR observations into normalized events for Trace Analyzer, Pattern-of-Life review, and evidence workflows.
